At the Annapolis Internal Medicine Walk-In Clinic, our Nurse Practitioners can treat a variety of illness and injuries. Please read the following lists to see if it's appropriate for you to visit our Walk-In Clinic. Keep in mind that you MUST already be an established patient with our practice to utilize the clinic. Note that the lists are not all inclusive. Please be advised that the Clinic is not equipped to treat serious medical conditions or life-threatening emergencies. Please dial 911 immediately if your condition is a true medical emergency.
We DO treat the following conditions or symptoms:
- Ear aches / Ear Infections
- Minor cuts or lacerations
- Minor sprain/strain injuries
- Upper Respiratory Infections
- Well Woman Exams / Pap Smear (requires appointment)
We do NOT treat the following conditions or symptoms in the WIC. The items listed below require regular follow-up visits with your Primary Care Physician. Please call (410) 897-9841 and select option 4 to reach the scheduling secretaries.
- Chronic Pain conditions requiring refills of narcotics
- ADD or ADHD requiring refills
- Severe chest pain with associated arm numbness (cardiac symptoms)
- Hospital Follow-Up Visits
- Walk-In Injections (these are typically given in Suite 400 and must be prior approved)
- If you've been seen more than three times in the WIC for the same condition
- If you haven't been seen by your Primary Care Physician in more than a year

- Billing Inquiries - Call 410-897-9841 and select option 7
